⚠️ Compass Usage Warnings

  • Magnetic Calibration: The first time you open the Compass app, hold your phone horizontally in the air a few times 8 (infinity) Move it in a way that cancels out the magnetic field.
  • Magnetic Cases: Phone cases with magnetic locks or car mount mechanisms will interfere with the magnetic sensor. Please remove these cases to ensure proper alignment.
  • Environmental Impacts: Magnetic fields emitted by high-voltage power lines, large masses of iron, and electronic devices cause the compass to deviate.
